Well it nearly reached the magic (evil magic) 100 degrees today.

This country is shit. You go anywhere else in the world and they use a thing called air conditioning. I'm stuck using bus', trains and the tube in almost dangerous levels of heat.

Tomorrow and Friday I'm going to see some bands in venues I know are usually sweltering in the winter. Whats more I'm going straight from work, so I'll be wearing my work clothes (shirt, and trousers).

Perhaps I'll get up early enough tomorrow to pack a change of clothes.

I doubt it though, its too hot to get to sleep.

Just to finish off, tomorrow I was suppose to be seing 'Bright Eyes' and 'British Sea Power' with Mike. He's pulled out, so I'm stuck with a spare ticket I can't seem to give away to any of my freinds.

Its too hot, I can't cope any more. The pollen is so bad I can hardly swallow. I wish it was winter. Luckily work is quiet at the moment. Gives me a chance to suffer in silence.

Still recovering from going clubbing on thursday.

got home at 5am, and got up at 8.30 to go to work.

slept most of the weekend. luckily the football season doesn't start properly for a couple of weeks. so my weekends are still free.

saw black rebel motorcycle club on thursday as well. they were supported by the hiss, who were great also. both were very similar bands.

need to try to sort out a trip to new york soon.

only one more episode of 24 left over here. i can't wait. (sad tv addict I know)

Spent all day in training today.

So boring. Made me lament my actual job.

Looking forward to Black Rebel Motorcycle Club on Thursday.

I've also finaly manged to persuade two more of my mates to come with me to watch British Sea Power in October. The revolution is beginning. Still got nobody to use up my spare ticket and go with me to see BSP supporting Bright Eyes in August.

Nevermind. I'm old and ugly enough to go to concert on my own. (sad life).

Hopefully I should be going clubbing either Thursday or Friday.

Saturday night I went to Cambridge for my mate Pauls Birthday.

I hate Cambridge. To many bikes.

I could of gone clubbing in london with Mike. Instead Pauls idea of a big night out is the pub and a curry. He went to be at 1.30, so me and Ash thought we might as well go back home as it wasn't that late.

On the way home the Radio had the club I was going to go to on it.

It sounded awsome.

I'm watching Terminator 2 at the moment. Fantastic.

Well I must be on a losing streak. Today for lunch I waited ages to get served at Burger King. I ordered my Whopper Meal with Diet Coke. After I found somewhere to sit I realised that they had given me a full fat Coke. I couldn't take it back for 2 reasons. I would lose my seat and the queue was to too long.

So I end up trying to drink it without any liquid touching my teeth. I've become a bit obsessed about suger after I had a tooth taken out a couple of years ago. It doesn't help watching all them U.S. tv show's (particularly the Simpsins) taking the mick about British teeth.

As soon as I got back to work I brushed my teeth. Yes I keep the necessary equipment at work.

I hate the way everytime I become a regular in a sandwich shop and take a liking to a particular filling, the clerk always asumes that thats the filling I want. This can be a bit of a problem if I go in wanting ham on rye and they still think I want egg mayonaise. But I'm at the back of the queue, and they think their helping me by having it ready by the time I make it to the front.

Today as I sat watching the box a fly buzzed around my head for a couple of minutes. I must smell or something.

Eventually it landed on my glasses. I couldn't get the damn thing off. No matter how hard I shook the glasses.

In frustration I threw my glasses across the room.

Whilst searching for my glasses a fly started buzzing round my head.

I've just realised that I'm supposed to go to Cambridge Saturday for Paul's Birthday. I hate Cambridge. I hate paul's girlfriend, Diane. She doesn't like me either. I only going if I can get a lift. I'm not paying to go to this hell. Ash is supposed to take me, but he's working till 4. The only other two going are Carl and his wife, Cheryl. If Ash doesn't go I'll be stuck as the odd one out with two couples. Not gonna happen. I've got a number of other offers, I'd rather be going to.

Never mind. I might actually enjoy myself. I must remember to stay sober or there may be fireworks.

I woke up this morning at 11am when ash phoned. He gave me half hour to get ready. We went to Bluewater (a big shopping mall near my home). Ash's brother just got married and comes back from honeymoon tomorrow. Ash still hasn't bought a wedding present. He couldn't find anything today. ha ha. We then went for a drive and found a nice pub and a couple of drinks. The sun was out, so we sat outside.

Just finished watching the latest episode of 24. Not many left (I don't want anyone telling me what happens).

Work tomorrow. I've lasted 3 weeks on temporary promotion. A record for me, and still going strong.

Hope its cold tomorrow, the heat is too much for me. The ac never works in my office.

I didn't wake up in time to go to the football. I guess my heart wasn't into it. I would have had to be at Waterloo by 8.30am on my day off! So I text one of the blokes I was supposed to meet (tommy) that I wasn't going, then turned off my phone. I couldn't be arsed with any confrontation. Spent the day watching crap on tv and fiddling around on the computer. My mate Ash phoned, I've known him since I was 10. I haven't seen him in over a month. He's probably gonna come round tomorrow, and we'll both go over to the local pub for a few. Hopefully the weather will be nice again and we can go to one with a beer garden.

The sunburn from last weekend is finally peeling. So I can do it all again soon, if the sun remains.

Glad I'm not going away this weekend, I wouldn't want to be stuck at Heathrow like all those people on the news. British Airways are shit. Fly Virgin.

I hate oversleeping. Late for work. More work to do because of it. Which meant I had to stay late. Every cloud and all that. By the time I got to John Lewis to buy some moisturiser the Clinique desk was having a happy hour. I got a free pimms and lemonade. More sophisticated than the pints of stellar I usually drink.

It was a good day after all.

1. Skin care products are cool.
2. It is possible to dance to House Music.

Another hot day. When to watch then first match of the season today. It was shit. For the record AFC Wimbledon (my team) lost to Kingstonian 2-0. It was good to meet up with a load of mates I haven't seen in two months. I ended up missing the 10.41 train home, and had to get the 11.41. Up early tomorrow.

Well it was the hotest day of the year today in London. I was stuck in office with air condtioning that spews out hot air. To make matters worse I had to work harder cause one of my colleagues decided to pull a sicky. I suppose he will return to work with a sun tan. Hope he burns. Like I did over the weekend. I haven't had a night out since last thursday (over a week). I'm going out wednesday night, for sure. Can't wait.

Why do I continue to expose myself to the sun when I know no matter how much sun cream I put on I'm still gonna go pink? When I got up this morning the sun was out, so I've been in the back garden most of the day. I'm a bit sore now. Hopefully I'll recover by Monday morning. Bought tickets for Black Rebel Motorcycle Club for the Forum at the end of the month. This pleases me as I like to go to at least 4 gigs a month and I haven't got any others planned. The NME come out tomorrow so hopefully I will find some more to go to.
